'Birds of Paradise' wins Ivors Composers Award for Jazz Ensemble 2022!

One of the pieces Tori wrote for her co led duo with Alcyona Mick has won the Ivor Novello Award for Jazz composition 2022! The piece will be part of an album due for release early in 2023 and features tracks by the two musicians written during lockdown. ‘Birds of Paradise’ was inspired by the birdsong Tori heard during lockdown and the whole album features compositions influenced by the various trials and tribulations influenced both composers during that strange time.
